MADNESS INTERLUDE: ORIGINAL SCARRIET POEM: IF LOVE CANNOT SPEAK

If love cannot speak in poetry, then where?
In wandering eyes that silent, stare,
At eyes, arms, lips, hips, hair
In eager looks hated by society?
If love cannot speak in poetry, then when?
Must we wait for the Romantics all over again,
When Shelley and Keats perfumed the air
Of perfumed love with perfumed care
In forms betokening love’s satiety?
If love cannot speak in poetry, then why
Must it drift away in sigh after sigh,
Or in cards the unimaginative buy
Because they have no idea what to say
When love sometimes throws a rhyme their way?

    A nice interlude, Tom.

I never buy a card for my wife. I always draw her something funny or write her a poem.

      David, I like your poem.

I’m also a Catholic, but one who has lapsed horribly. I’ve been thinking of going back to the church lately – even though I am an atheist.

I understand the puppetry here now a lot better. David is a Catholic, of course…

I s’pose I have a bad habit of tearing ‘places’ apart to see what’s ‘inside’. Still tearing god apart…Don’t worry. It’s better that way. You would never know if you met me.

and then, knowing what kind of person she really is, become deeply disturbed that she’s raising children – as well as highly amused that she questions my sanity.

make it “private” tom. there is such privacy in the nazi coliseum, where all ‘the action’ here is taking place.

yes, make it private. the gesture was so “private” and intimate.

You are a bad troll – not even sure about the edu-tainment value here- while Des and the Desmonds are apparently The Greatest Troll on Earth!

No point sorting it all out. There’s nothing left to be angry about. It’s a joke.

There’s nothing to ‘sort out’. Leave the trolls to their trolling. “Welcome to the Critical Debate” – indeed.

    The Sophists won.

“It is not, difficult, then, to see a relation between the philosophy of J.L. Austin and IBM, or between the various Neo-Nietzscheanisms of a post-structural epoch and Standard Oil. It is not surprising that classical models of truth and cognition are increasingly out of favour in a society where what matters is that you deliver the commercial and rhetorical goods. Whether among discourse theorists or the Institute of Directors, the goal is no longer truth but performativity, not reason but power.”

    Terry Eagleton

No, but seriously. Let’s talk about how I (seriously) accidentally found you here and mistook the treatment I got from some of the “puppets” here for another “puppet” at the other place that I, while researching a topic I was interested in, again, discovered you in – an accident. It is kind of funny, after all. Funny in a very, very sad way. But still – a real riot!

That they (the puppets) sound almost exactly the same – again, hilarious.

Note. I’m the puppet who doesn’t sound the same. And I saw what you did there, with the SS too. Tomas-cat.

At one point I thought all these puppets were you. Oh the fun I’ve had here. Remember when. The days when nothing actually happened, and every troll was male. Well, I really need to leave now. You have a textbook “desire” and that can be okay I s’pose and I’m sorry you should delete all this. Love you. Holy hell.

    • Mar said,

Wow, and just imagine if the “puppet” wasn’t so obvious – on the attack in a really foul and unfair way – I would have NEVER in a million years known who the “puppet” was…The puppet’s hatred gave it away. Same with the other one. Too bad.

Too bad I can’t have a conversation with Tomas in the ‘internet public’ without some foul bitch popping out of the woodwork and attacking me. Sad.

Ask me if I feel bad for calling you out. I don’t.

  16. Mar said,

    March 31, 2012 at 10:25 am

Nobody is allowed to talk about this in “real life.” It never happened and “it wasn’t me”

Poor Tomas— strangled, choked, and gagged
    By society!

  17. Mar said,

    March 31, 2012 at 11:54 am

But let’s get back to the critical discussion…

    Tomas, why.

    Why Tomas

    why

    j/k I know why :)

    • Mar said,

      March 31, 2012 at 1:54 pm

they’re right-wing fascists…. someone like “tom” will maybe come along in thirty years and talk about how corrupt and repulsive it all was. where it criss-crossed into psuedo-rad politics..how most “aesthetic” decisions were political. it’s VERY obvious what’s been going on here. tom is no longer capable of accountability, and judgment of anything but fashion.

      • Mar said,

        March 31, 2012 at 2:02 pm

that’s why we just trolling with our hands in the air like we just don’t care. because it’s very difficult to care at this point. probably best to just go back to the church, and do everyhting on my own, from scratch, as far as my other interests go. there will be no ‘reform’ in the groups i’m familiar with, and i cannot in good conscience participate in them as they are. this is why nervous breakdowns can sometimes be ‘good’. tear it apart, look at what’s inside. and i have no qualms about rebuilding with some of the most dead ideas there are.

Isis was not able to put Osiris back together this time. We know in part, love fails, and she keeps getting stuck having to judge the dead.
